It was made official today by the Blazers that after 14 seasons, they were ending their partnership with Taco Bell. The former agreement had all fans at the game get a free chalupa coupon once the Blazers scored 100 points. However, the team also said they will find a suitable replacement for fans to enjoy when the Blazers score 100 points.
Here’s the full press release:
A corporate marketing decision impacting local Taco Bell franchisees has eliminated product promotions like our Chalupa giveaway when the Trail Blazers score 100 points. It’s been a wonderful tradition for 14 years that our fans truly love. But rest assured the Trail Blazers will find a suitable replacement item for our fans to celebrate and enjoy when we score 100 points.
