McCollum Suffers Fracture in Left Foot

It was announced by the Blazers this afternoon that rookie point guard CJ McCollum broke his 5th metatarsal in his left foot, and will require surgery to fix. This announcement was made shortly after it was reported he suffered a left foot sprain.

McCollum broke the same bone he broke in his senior year of college, ending his college basketball career. Nobody is sure if this will hinder his recovery period, but everybody is hoping for the best — that it doesn’t.

As mentioned earlier, surgery will be required, but no date has been set.

Stay tuned for more information regarding CJ McCollum and all of the Blazers injury woes.

Until next time,
